Help make this film a reality

Film projects like this take a lot of time and money to make. Films with heart and meaning also take a community to get behind. We are doing what we can to bring attention to a very serious national problem with Youth Mental Health awareness. This film is dedicated to our youth and giving them a voice to speak out about Mental Health issues, as well as serious problems around Youth Suicide, Bullying, Mental Health and many more youth related problems in society.

Niobe Ryu joins the cast of Piggy

When I work with actors as a director I am always looking for other jobs for them in the future depending on their ability to shine. I have worked with Niobe a few times now as a director in my first theatre show “August Rain” and again last year directing Niobe in “Fumblelove”. I have this thing for great acting. Once I’ve worked with you before the chances are I’ll work with you again. This is what I see in Niobe’s work. Such an awesome actor that gives 100% every time. Niobe will be playing the role of JEN, who is the mother of our Piggy. This is such a tough role and something I know Niobe is fully ready for. I am really excited to see where she takes this. Welcome aboard Niobe!

Myles Pollard Leads the Cast in Piggy

Myles Pollard is such a unique talent. His abillity as an actor on everything he does is always worthy. Myles will play the lead role in Piggy as the Schools Drama Teacher Mr Morgan. This will be something very powerful for viewers who have seen Myles over the past two decades play an assortment of roles in things like “McLeod’s Daughters”, “X-Men Origins: Wolverine”, “Looking for Grace” and “Jasper Jones”. A role that I can’t wait to see Myles play is that of Frank in “Frank and Frank (or the Valley and the Walrus: Ruminations on the Mystery from Soup to Nuts). I can’t wait to work with Myles on this amazing film!

He doesn’t know this but I first met him on the set of Correli and Janus in the 1990’s when I was first starting out as an actor. I would watch Robert shine on set. To have him attached to this film is such a pleasure and honour.

Oscar Nominated Composer Joins Piggy

It is with great pleasure that I announce that two time Oscar nominated composer David Hirschfelder has agreed to come on to PIGGY as our composer. David is literally my favourite composer who I got to work with on my International award winning documentary Salute. David’s credits are huge. Those outside the film industry would also know David as the keyboard player for John Farnham back in the day but his composing skills are second to none in Australia and around the World.
