Introducing the Teenage Lead cast of Piggy

I am pleased to share the outcomes of a truly remarkable audition process conducted for our upcoming film, “Piggy,” where we sought to assemble our teenage cast as well as the teenage roles for the in-film play. It is with immense pride and enthusiasm that we announce the talented individuals who will comprise our main cast:

The selected cast members are as follows:

Inez Demirceviren, who will portray the lead character, Sarah, known as “PIGGY.”

Charlie Norman, cast as “Mitch.”

Declan Eden, taking on the role of “Matthew.”

Lucy Leviston, who will bring “Jessica” to life.

Joe Appleton, portraying the character of “Jamie.”

We are thrilled to have such exceptional young talent within the Ballarat community. These individuals have demonstrated their remarkable abilities and have been chosen to play pivotal roles in our film.

Our decision to exclusively cast actors from Ballarat and its surrounding districts stems from our commitment to facilitating comprehensive pre-production rehearsals. Proximity to our chosen actors enables us to ensure that they are fully prepared to deliver outstanding performances.

In the forthcoming weeks, our cast members will participate in new headshot sessions, and we will engage with local media outlets to make official announcements regarding their selection. We look forward to sharing this exciting phase of our project with the community.

On a personal note, I extend my heartfelt gratitude to every Ballarat student who participated in the audition process. Your dedication and exceptional talent left a profound impact on us, and we deeply appreciate the effort you put forth.

Also we round out the casting of our on screen Drama Class Actors for the film being Leela Sweet, Jasmine Burge, Charlie Peters, Izzy Farrah, Rebecca Osborne and Peter Mathews.

Along side these remarkable young actors will be some of Australia’s leading talent including Myles Pollard, Robert Morgan, Steve Le Marquand, Pippa Grandison, Erin Connor, Niobe Ryu and Matt Norman.

Thank you for your continued support and enthusiasm for our project. We are excited to embark on this creative journey with such a talented and engaged community.
