Hand In Hand – Become Major Sponsor / Donor

We are incredibly thrilled to announce that Ballarat Mental health advocacy group “Hand In Hand” have joined the Piggy film as a major Donator and Sponsor for the project. Leah Ashton from Hand in Hand has joined us to help promote the film but more importantly will help promote her own amazing initiative in the Ballarat Region.

Who is Hand in Hand?

It is three local Ballarat businesses (Tennis Ballarat, PilatesFit Plus, and Playground Gym) that have come together – Hand in Hand – to raise much-needed funds to improve the lives of our kids, families, and our community. In partnership with The Sebastian Foundation, these funds will assist in the roll-out of the ‘Open Parachute’ program in our schools.

The mental health of our kids has never been so important. We know how critical it is to empower our kids with skills, resources and education to help them navigate difficult times.

This program provides proactive resources for our kids and helps set them up with tools to assist their mental health for life. The peer-led initiative, built from Macquarie University research, aims to reduce mental health stigma and provide practical support for our kids.

It’s an opportunity for our kids to speak.

A resource to assist teachers with difficult conversations.

A program that will help save lives.

Let’s empower our youth, raise some much-needed funds, and give our kids the mental health skills they need to be resilient and confident as they move into adulthood.

We are thrilled to have Hand in Hand as a major sponsor of the film and can’t wait to help celebrate what they are doing in the community.
